Linda Seibert AwardAward Description

The Linda Seibert Career Achievement Award is awarded to the Bureau of Land Management Biologist or Manager who exemplifies the characteristics and professional dedication of one of BLM’s finest biologists. It recognizes the employee who has significantly contributed to the conservation of fish, wildlife, and/or botanic resources over the course of their career.

Nomination Criteria

Candidate must have developed strong working relationships with other individuals or organizations, made consistent contributions to natural resources, had a long-term natural resources career (20+ years), accomplished work through innovation and creativity, and established and developed partnerships throughout their career.

Nominations/Submission Procedure

Nominations are accepted from State Directors, other Agencies, Professional Societies, and Non-Governmental Organizations. A brief description (1 page max) must be submitted to Frank Quamen, Division Chief, Division of Wildlife Conservation, Aquatics and Environmental Protection (fquamen@blm.gov) no later than Friday, December 31.

Award Ceremony

Awards are presented to the recipient at the North American Wildlife & Natural Resources Conference (held in March).
