FIRE PLANNING
The function of the Fire Planning topic area is to provide direction and guidance for incorporating land and resource management goals and objectives into fire management plans, other planning products, and planning/budget allocation processes while considering technology transfer and decision support projects and applications. Fire Planning staff provide guidance to ensure fire and fuels management actions are consistent with land and resource management plans, enabling laws, policies, regulations, and environmental mandates.
