BLM Resource Uses, Decisions, and Descriptions (RUDD)
The Resources Uses, Decisions and Description (RUDD) data framework is a collection of Resource Management Plans and Amendments capturing Goals, Objectives and Decisions. Each decision has been categorized into 1-46 categories and if possible a spatial extent has been provided supporting that statement. The data is presented in 2 ways.
- Feature Class (Spatial File) of the location, decision categories and contributing location of the spatial file located on the network.
- Table of all the management decisions language, categories and additional information when provided.
The data represented has been collected and processed from multiple sources depending on the plan. Sources include ePlannning, BLM HUB, internal folders, internal database, scanned and digitized documents. The data provided is a guide and is not the definitive data to make decisions and the opportunity for offices to provide more accurate data is available.
