The Automated Fluid Minerals Support System (AFMSS) is a BLM-wide fluid minerals (oil, gas, and geothermal) authorized use and inspection/enforcement workload support system. AFMSS core data includes leases, agreements, wells, production, bond and surety information, and operator compliance. The Geothermal Resources Automated Support System (GRASS) is a database that tracks geothermal operations for the BLM; and the Well Information System (WIS) is the eGov component of AFMSS.
