The Dead Raven site, 42Ka2667, is a Virgin Anasazi habitation and storage complex situated in the NE !4, NW !4, NW lA of Section 25, T41S, R5W in Kane County, Utah (Fig.1) . The site is located on land administered by the Kanab Resource Area of the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Cedar City District. At an elevation of 5720 ft, it lies on the west side of Johnson Canyon just west of Johnson Creek some 12 miles north of the mouth of the canyon (Fig.2) . Previous road construction had run directly across the site.
