Science in Practice Portal

A report on the first year's results of a multi-year research project jointly sponsored by the Bureau of Land Management and the University of Nevada-Reno. Further excavations and survey efforts were conducted in the summer of 1982 and the project is scheduled to continue through the following years. The present report sets the basis for the later field seasons by not only describing the field discoveries of 1981, but also presenting information gathered through initial archival searches.
