The Excavation of Hummingbird Rock Shelter

This volume represents the excavation of a rock shelter in the Craig, Colorado District. The results of the work are of value to archaeologists and the general public because this is one of the few excavations that has occurred in northwestern Colorado.

The information gathered by Carl Conner and Dani Langdon adds insight as to prehistoric peoples in the western part of Colorado while also providing habitation dates, along with an analysis of tools and materials that were used to sustain these ancient people.
